Bisque Without Borders

I went to the Ceramics Research Center and saw the Bisque Without Borders exhibit. It was incredible because of all the detailed pieces involved. The intricate detailing drew you into the pieces individually and as a whole. They really made you look at each piece carefully. I loved that each thing had so much to offer when looking at it. It made me think about many different things. I constantly thought about what the artist was thinking when he made the pieces. I would highly recommend that everyone check this out.

  1. I wish I could see them up close, but even from the picture I can tell that an incredible amount of detail went into it! I just found out about this ceramics center last night, so now I really want to check it out.. I've worked a little with ceramics before and think that it can be a beautiful art. I usually don't think of small figurines when I think of ceramics, and with my little knowledge of the medium I can only imagine how much skill went into these pieces.

  2. I love how random some of the objects seem. This exhibit looks really interesting and makes me wonder what the inspiration was behind it.
